The KTLA News at 10 just won't be the same without Hal as he was always in good
spirits and it was enjoyable to watch how he did the news with a sense of
humour and pitching in with a joke about someone or something.,getting a
chuckle from everyone at Channel 5, here on local cable. Also Hal made sure
that the news always included an item about space as and an aviation buf he was
also interested in that subject and I hope he had the opportunity to watch the
launch of the latest shuttle mission.I think he would have traded in his anchor
position for a chance to go on a flight.I'll miss Hal as my favourite newsman
but I think I heard him say once that "The show must go on".--Bill in BC
