Up around 1215 UTC surprisingly found a host of hets on the Asian split frequencies, especially on the lower part of the band. Only audio was on 774 from JOUB Akita, Japan but they had a surprisingly good signal with hardly any splatter from 770/780 stations.
Strongest hets were on 638 & 828 but they both looped strongest toward DU countries. By the time I made it up to 1566 it was nearing 1300 UTC and I could just make out bits of audio. Encouraging.
