WWSJ does not get out at all. They were a semi-local while I was at
Michigan State, but I don't think I ever heard them in Port Huron, & if I
did it was only once. They were WRBJ then. WVKO was an R&B/Gospel station
until they went off last December, so they were often hard to distinguish
from WPGC, & that's why I didn't notice they were off as soon as it
happened. WPGC was audible under them pretty much all day here. As I
recall, WVKO did not ID much, but they were non-directional days. Though
they have more power now, I understand they are now directional ESE days,
samee at night though with a tighter pattern.

I am quite sure I heard them about a year and a half
ago. Listened for a whole hour, but did not hear, even
once, a station ID.
I get a real mixed bag of loggings on 1580, but oddly
enough, WWSJ in St. Johns Michigan has the distinction
of being the closest station to my home that I have
not yet logged.
