I should qualify that *some* rubber gasketed boxes are OK. Some bottom out on metal to metal contact and have the gasket outside that metal to metal contact. Most electrical-type weatherproof boxes just have the cover sitting on the gasket. These aren't shielded fully because the gasket insulates the cover and the only contact between the cover and the case are the cover screws.
