Please advise (direct at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) who the fellow was that saw the light and got out of Dodge City (WASHDC) and moved to Marathon. Sounds like the period when Martí was still a subagency of VOA and had to put up with VOA's budget. Later, Martí became equal with VOA and got separate funding from VOA. This funding was enhanced by the political clout of the (mostly Republican) Cuban-American community in Miami/Dade. Martí moved studios down to Hialeah (sp?) so it could be better control- led by forsaid community). AS far as I can see, except for unusual circumstance, Martí-1180 would not go to ND because of WHAM-1180. Just my thoughts.
