Gary, Is their room on the circuit board for more filters? I would think in moving them off board you would get into some issues. It is a nice thought, but I would think there would be issues. The sellectivity is pretty good for a portable. I had Gerry Thomas put a 4 khz filter into the Sony 6500 and it is great.
