Its rather rare here too, even within a 200 mile range. I usually get KBLF/Red Bluff in the morning, KTOB/Petaluma in the day and KRKC/King City at night. When I do hear KOWL, I always stop to listen. Mike Campbell

Bill is retired and is occasionally hired to fix things at the station and my letter just got into his hands. He mentions that in the 1960's they were usually the only station on 1490 on Monday mornings and they received letters from all over the world. I'm very happy with this one. I consider it a somewhat rare one down here.
