It's a tiny town...and if you go there, don't go looking for KWAL, 
because it ain't there! :-)

KWAL's unusual Interstate-straddling directional array is a few miles to 
the west, in the even tinier town of Osburn, Idaho. Garrett and I 
stopped there on the way (loosely speaking) from Salt Lake to Boise last 
month and had a very friendly visit. Not only is the tower setup 
unusual, but the studio building itself is nifty. It was designed for 
live bands to play, and the ancient GE tube transmitter is still there 
in the control room, too!
