Listen from 1115-1355 ut. So far this morning the lower MW band is quite good.
(1326). Upper band not so good, VOA Thailand in on 1575 with weak signal. Not
heard in a few days. JOUB 774 was heard on the DX-
440 barefoot. Also heard using the Kiwa loop. Found that the Ewe out performs
the loop on the upper MW channels. Loop seems to do better on the lower
channels, much less splash. Nice to see the days getting shorter and the
listening time getting longer.
153 Russia, 1115 weak.
180 Russia, level 5
189 Russia, 1116 weak
234 Russia, 1117 fair, this one must now be on steroids. Usually
the weakest of the 5 Russian heard here.
558 Japan, JOCR 1252 weak, piano music with splatter to ruin the
nice music.
594 Japan, JOAK 1128 weak with woman in Japanese.
639 Japan, JOPB, pieces of audio, but KFI and Mr Bill Handle
wiped out this one. Weak audio at 1325 // NHK2 (JOUB)
JOPB only NHK2 listed in PAL. New one. Thanks Bill
for fading out.
666 Japan, JOBK 1341 weak.
657 PDR Korea, 1302 weak with woman/man talking. Much
Splash.
693 Japan, JOAB 1153 weak.
747 Japan, JOUB 1154 weak, fair 1157
774 Japan, JOUB 1157 fair, Good with S-9+30 db at 1308.
Set selectivity to 6 hz and sounded good for a while.
774 China, under JOUB super signal at 1312, heard between
pauses in JOUB program.
828 Japan, JOBB 1229 went from weak to good to no audio in
about two minutes. Back weak at 1233.
1422 Japan, JORF 1317 very weak with music.
1503 Japan, JOUK 1322 weak.
1566 Republic of Korea, HLAZ weak at 1242.
1575 Thailand, VOA 1222 weak. fair 1319 woman Asian language.
