This is not exactly DX related, but it is radio station related. -------------- My dear wife suggested that for our anniversary get-away this year, we take a trip to the Eastern Shore of Maryland to hunt for radio towers. Yes it was completely her idea. Recently, she has joined me in my hunt to visit and photograph all the AM broadcast station towers in Maryland, and she thought this would be a good way to spend time together.
We visited 11 Maryland AM stations, one Delaware station, and several FM stations. Out of the 60 or so AM broadcast stations in Maryland, I have visited and taken pictures of 56 of them. Only WTTR, WPIK, WPTX, and WWGB remain. You can see a trip report for this weekend at http://towers.philcobill.com/md/es/ My complete Maryland station visit list is at http://towers.philcobill.com/md/ I have not added narratives to all of the stations, but at least you can see where we have been.
