Totally agree with Barry on this -- and although I would love to see all our objections amount to something, it is only going to be time that fixes this. Unwilling participants... True enough. The AM band is a sacred trust of the people in North America (and the World) that is being maliciously squandered by the same kind of people that steal elections, centralize and concentrate media power and erode personal freedom - In this particular case, a palpable reduction in access to regional and local news sources -- freedom to pick your news source and opinions: left, right or centrist. The consumers of media, en masse, will have to rise up and do something about it. Dxers? We may lead the initial charge, but we will not be wielding the bayonet. For now, I am going to spend more time listening and improving my environment and less time worrying about it.
