I have been doing a bit of playing with filtering tonight. First the IF filters on the R8. I find the .5 khz filter for CW does a great job on removing the hash. By tuning the passband you can clean out the majority of the hash even on a strong signal like KGO or KEX. However .5 khz is to narrow to understand what is left. I wonder if maybe a 1 khz filter and some audio filtering might do the trick? I should hook up the QF-1 audio filter and see what I can do with that.
