I would never publish this on a broadcasters' list, but I would love to see a massive one night "cheat" to protest night IBOC. All non-IBOC stations stay on day power and pattern for one night to kill the Hybrid-Digital IBAC Radio broadcasters. (I say this tongue in cheek. It's one of those "what if we all stopped paying our taxes for a year" type things. What are they going to do, fine everyone?) It will never happen, and as a broadcaster who does his best to follow the rules, I would never partake. But, it would bring enough chaos to the band to get the point across. >>They are the outsiders here. Not necessarily. There are a lot of us broadcast engineers on the list who are also avid Dxers. 73, Rene' _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
