Over 1 million Americans listen to AM radio outside
their "listening area" or contour or what ever it is called.

It might be 2 million.

They are all DXers by definition.

Only 10,000 of those people, tops, call or identify themselves as DXers.
The remaining folks are a viable and potent number.

So. Do not under-estimate those 900,000 to 1,900,000 radio owners.

KGO claims to have 1 million night-time listeners outside their day coverage.
Can you imagine the phone calls and e-mails if someone starting burying KGO with
DigiHash?

Now multiply that phenomenon by 2000, or 3000 when(if) all American AM radio
stations
are "forced"(encouraged) to go digital.

Enough said,
