That is right. Especially "if" the FCC allows IBOC boosts in power in
the future. They are at the 1% mark now (which still seems to be
unbelieveable with the hash's signal), but if upped to 20% or 50%, or
100% in time, IBOC will trash IBOC coast to coast. The coverage of a 50
KWer wont get out of the city limis, if that, as there will be another
50 KW a few hundred miles away next door. The question comes up "What
were they thinking?" I know of a few engineers that still feel that one
main push for IBOC is to block out distant radio stations in a market.
That it will do, legal jamming..
