I've also found discrepancies between the FCC silent
list and reality. It may be comforting to think of any
kind of list as "official" or "of record" (eg., "the
paper of record". Even lists which are very good are
subject to change and aren't always updated quickly,
or things fall through the cracks. Were life so
simple...
