Listening to a replay of KOHI's hour talk show from Friday morning, host Marty Rowe said that he is working with KVRI on the interference problems they are having in KOHI listening area. Listeners have been complaining that a station in a foreign language is interfering with their reception of KOHI in the morning and evening. Marty said that one of KVRI 11 antennas is not working properly. KVRI is working on the problem antenna. 11 antennas? Checked the FCC data base and found that they are using 6 antennas for day and night patterns. KOHI is 180 degrees South of Blaine at 216 miles. The deepest null on KRVI antenna pattern is 180 degrees South. Marty also mentioned that they still working on their antenna problems.
