1.
The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation (CBC),
the licensee of the radio programming undertaking CFWH Whitehorse, to
change the
authorized contours of its transmitter CBDB Watson Lake by increasing
the transmitter
power from 40 watts to a daytime transmitter power of 400 watts and a
nighttime transmitter
power of 165 watts.
2.
The CBC has indicated that the increase in power will significantly
improve both daytime

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with
this application.
4.
The Commission notes that the authorized contours of the transmitter
will be expanded
significantly as a result of the increase in power and that CBDB’s
status will change
from that of a low-power unprotected service to that of a regular
Class C service.
