330 pm here (2230 ut) Nov 9 and 1575 is in like a (almost) local, with touch tones and Radio Farda id even. Many, many other channels with hets and many of those are substantial. In fact, coming down the band the first EMPTY memory channel is 873 (well it's not empty but no het discernable in 880 sideband), followed by 846. Note that I only have 100 channels of memory so there might be a few splits not programmed in that are empty as well.... Suffice it say it is pretty early and pretty full of promise.
Nigel Pimblett is enroute and Micket Delmage will be joining us as well for a SWL/MW DX weekend out here so it's unlikely these good conditions will persist, but the forecast looks fairly safe...
