In watching CHEK Victoria tonight, lots of damage on Vancouver Island. Trees down everywhere with wind gusts over 100 km/h. We had gusts here of 86 MPH on the North coast Not as many trees down, but still some and hitting cars and homes. This was another nasty storm. I just heard Penticton was even affected with the storm. One tree sliced a house in half. I hope this is not sign of what this Winter will be.
