Driving around the western part of Federal Way this morning I noted
spotty rock music on 1700 so naturally pursued it as it got louder as
I headed home in NE Tacoma. From home it seemed to have a due East
orientation. At 11am local it identified itself as Browns Point
Radio. The voice was very professional and the audio quality appears
to be well audio processed. They have a web site
(brownspointradio.com) and the program is streamed ("Reaching every
corner of the globe, brownspointradio.com"). It is operating under
Part 15. Browns Point is an unincorporated residential area of NE
Tacoma. I'll check it out tonight to see how well it holds up against
XEPE.
