A must have (FREE!) open-source (FREE!) MP3 (and WAV!) recorder, mixer, player that I have been using since day-one is AUDACITY -- http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ It records WAV files and exports MP3 with the FREE MP3 Lame.dll Audacity is even supported in Mac OS X It supports VST Plugins It makes a great post-processor for WAV and MP3 files You can convert and down-convert to any recognized MP3 compression protocol or bit-rate. Great for recording PODCASTS. I love it - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ End of shameless plug. -- Colin Newell - Editor/Creator coffeecrew.com | dxer.ca Web-Design / E-Commerce / Writing Victoria, British Columbia, Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
