WD-40 can be used but keep it away from the dial cord !! The power switch is about all that goes on SR's. We used to use it even on old UHF tuner ground forks & it worked wonders. Never had detuning problems, it seems to evaporate quickly. Dont use it on anything that arcs also. Once I used it on a skip-stop switch on an old Zenith remote set & went to the front of the & held the channel button. POOF a big flash. The customer was in awe. 73 Tom Jones Mason N.H.
