Thanks very much for your information-- you are the first to evaluate
this unit's AM performance.
This model has been ordered for a competitive "Ultralight AM-DX
Shootout," scheduled for early 2008. The other contestants will be the
Sangean
DT-180V and DT-210V models, and possibly the SRF-59. The current "Ultralight
AM-DX Shootout," which will be completed this week, revealed a desperate need
for
a sensitive, selective digital portable that can tune the 9 kHz splits.
Since all of the above models presumably can do this, it will be most
interesting to see how they compare, and whether their selectivity can come
close to
that of the astonishing SRF-59. Thanks again for your information!
