There is a radio station in Vancouver B.C. that does nothing but traffic reports. Who listens to it? Pedestrians? Doubt that... Motorists. Can you imagine being stuck in traffic and wondering why? I know! Let's tune in the station that will tell me why I am not moving. And this is a 10 or 20kw station. I can hardly think of a better way of wasting energy... I know: Put a space heater inside a refrigerator and let them both duke it out. That is about equivalent to the lunacy of having a traffic only powerhouse on the AM dial. On the plus side - it would be super easy to ID this station from anywhere else on the globe. -- Colin Newell - Editor/Creator coffeecrew.com | dxer.ca Web-Design / E-Commerce / Writing Victoria, British Columbia, Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
