Dave, My guess is that you probably entered a parameter incorrectly. As an example, if, on Dec 14 at 2200 you wanted to begin recording on Dec 15 at 0355 but entered Dec 14 at 0355 by mistake, the status of the job would probably be "expired" because Dec 14 at 0355 was already in the past.
If you have some spare time, try scheduling several short recordings during the day. When you get it working properly, you'll love it!
