Yep, I was listening to their Christmas music (also while in bed) - takes me back to my days as a kid listening to the radio under the covers! I was able to null CHWO, but didn't stay on it long enough to tell who was underneath. While I didn't score any TA's I did hear some hets on the 1 kHz splits like 530, where I was able to pick up both the 250 watt CIAO and R. Vision Cristinana in Turks and Caicos by rotating the radio. Cuba was booming in on several channels. So at least I can report some Pan-American reception! I literally had one station every 10 kHz on the lower half of the band, and it was fairly easy to resolve that step size. One trick I discovered is to use my thumbnail on the serrated edge of the tuning knob and push it up or down about one "tooth" for every 10 kHz of tuning. Pick the last tooth that's exposed at the very bottom or top of the knob and push it until you hit the case of the radio where it will stop.
