I know this is way off the mark, but since we have a lot of smart folks with a
wealth of knowledge on these lists, I thought Id ask a quick question. A
friend of mine at work is trying to get some info on undersea communications
cables in the former Panama Canal Zone that probably connected it to other
locations in the Caribbean. In particular, he is trying to get info on some
cables installed around 1945 near the end of WW II. A long shot for sure, but
anyone have any ideas? If you can help, please contact me off-list. Thanks.
