American and Canadian Brothers,

The pocket radio revolution that has swept North America is invading
the hallowed shores of the Mother Country!

Steve Whitt of Medium Wave Circle, by somewhat casually publishing the
same explosive SRF-59 Review that touched off the incredible boom here in
North America, may well have unknowingly lit the fuse for another
Continent-Shaking Revolution in Europe. We should have given him fair warning
that the
market combination of an ultra-capable receiver at an ultra-low price
inevitably
creates a pessimism-shattering explosion of nuclear proportions,
reverberating to the very depths of the AM-DX community. But... now it's too
late,
brothers! Steve has already printed the SRF-59 Review in the January MWN
edition, with ultra-severe consequences sure to follow!

As our AM-DX brethren in Europe proceed to join in our Righteous Cause
of Liberty, Justice and AM-DX Freedom For All, let us all contemplate our
good fortune to have finally broken the chains of boring, pricey, ultra-heavy
receivers that oppressively demand our sedentary servitude to their obsolete
knobs and switches. Brothers, we have issued our revolutionary Declaration of
DXing Independence, and we will surely proceed to Worldwide Victory in the
supreme cause of shifting the AM-DX orientation from sedentary servitutde to
Lazy-Boy liberty!

73 and great Ultralight DX to All,

 Gary DeBock

  Chief Fanatic
