Since he is the Salem CE and is putting on the KKMO test, I E-mailed Monte Passmore to tell him that some off-frequency station was battering KLFE with a constant 900 cycle tone. I can hear it here all day, and driving around the South Sound, it almost approaches audio on the car radio. I don't have any measuring equipment so can't tell if it's KLFE which is off or someone else (KTIL is the closest; KQLO is possible since I get KFBK all day here in the winter). Has anyone determined which 1590 station is 900 cycles low?
