Thanks, Bruce and Walt - that puts the matter to rest. I didn't hold out much hope, seeing as how the test wasn't heard in places like MN that are much closer to the west coast than I am. Just goes to show, if you listen to a crowded noisy channel for long enough, you'll eventually hear something that sounds like code! Speaking of which, has anyone noticed the ESPN spots that use high-speed code (25-30 wpm or so) as a sound effect? It seems to be gibberish, but the letters "BC" are repeated several times.
