Hi Saul,

Of all the Ultralight radio models, the Sony SRF-M85 (V) perhaps has
the most checkered history. Some units are apparently very good, and some are
very bad. It's all the luck of the draw. I've tested two, and both were like
yours-- but I know two DXers who really like their units. Who knows what's
going on?

If the Sony SRF-T615 is being discontinued, Audio Cubes sure hasn't
told me anything about it-- or canceled my order for two of them. If your
local
Sony retailer isn't helping you, Saul, try _http://www.audiocubes2.com_
(http://www.audiocubes2.com) , and be prepared to part with about $105.00 US,
including shipping.

And oh yes, Saul, if you become the first DXer to receive actual TA
audio on the SRF-59, you will be famous indeed, my friend! But be
forewarned...
your DX life may never be the same again..

              73, Gary
