Shortly before the KKMO DX Test was aired, Monte Passmore added only 
sweep tones and a short station identifier to what was to be run 
during the test, according to the e-mails I saw and to dxtest.info. 
There was no mention explicitly that Morse code would be included in 
the station identifier, although some of us assumed that it would be.

During some of the tests conducted last season, I found it easier to 
hear sweep tones than some of the Morse code IDs.  Probably related 
to how my old ears pick up on the changing pitch of the sweeps.

Wonder what hapened?  Recent pre-test press releases
indicated that code would be run.
