Saul Using the SRF-59, I heard the CFFX test at midnight but under WFIR. Being relatively new at this, I am surprised. CFFX (Kingston) is 226km/140mi from my location and the test was conducted at 10 000W (as mentioned in the test notice). WFIR in Roanoke, VA is 733km/456mi away and broadcasting at 5 000W (as in the NRC's AM radio log). I would have expected the CFFX signal to be the stronger of the two. By moving the radio, I could null CFFX but not WFIR.
