Checked into Grayland Motel & Cottages around 3:30 pm. Very wet conditions on the property. There's two guys driving a pick-up around, picking up wood so I have not been able to set up the beverage to the West or Northwest. Did set up a 300' wire Northwest and heard the Texas station on 1700. KVNS? the station that plays rock, did get an ID. Nice level on the JRC 545, but nothing on the SRF-59. Checked the mail before we left today and the SRF-59 prison radio came. Will try it out tonight. Mostly Canadian stations heard on the SRF-59. Nothing further than Alberta.
