The city council in La Mirada, Calif., this month OK'd the plan to 
replace the tower that fell when an airplane hit it in a fatal crash in 
late 2004, according to the Orange County Register newspaper.

Company officials hope to have the replacement structure up as early as 
this summer.

Clear Channel owns the station; the new structure will be 684 feet and 
stand at 16608 Trojan Way.
