Hi Pete: I too noticed the growl on 750, making KXL really difficult to hear. It's certainly not a 3khz whine from 747-Japan (I wish...), but rather a domestic station with a 100 hz or so frequency problem. Given the strength of the interference, I would guess either KOAL or CKJH, unless a drifty KERR forgot to turn their day power off.
