Hello,
I just took the Radio Shack portable receiver that
was a Christmas present --- the one that had the bad
image rejection problem --- and gave Radio Shack the
song and dance about it being a present, no receipt,
etc. They were nice about it and let me exchange it
for something else. No problem here as all of us can
find something in Radio Shack.
Much to my surprise, the Olympus WS-100 WMA Digital
Voice Recorder was on sale from the usual $80 down to
$60. I gave it a test run tonight. Recorded a short
voice message, plugged it into the computer, and
played it. It's that simple. I already have images in
my mind of how easy future DX Tests will be with this
handy unit. And talk about "pocket rockets", this unit
measures 3.75" by 1.5" by .625" that's 9.5 cm by 4 cm
by 1.5 cm for the rest of the world.
I should note that I have no ownership,
affiliation, or work relationships with Radio Shack,
just a happy customer.
