Yesterday, my wife & I were up in the boonies somewhere west of Sacramento and I did a bit of dxing on the way back home around 3:45-4:15 pm. Sunset conditions were pretty good as it was cloudy, dusky & raining. What I did notice was the IBOC 'White Noise' indicating that the Sacto stations on 1140, 1470 & 1530 were all running (daytime) IBOC. If this was common knowledge out here I must have had my head turned when it zipped by. The other nice thing was all the QRM on the S.F. stations on the higher end of the band.
