     The Canadians like Rob Ross and Allen Willie  really are cleaning up on 
Ultralight DX, and certainly deserve all the awards  they will get. They are 
truly phenomenal.
 
     But here on the west coast, the only two  DXers who have received TP's 
on Ultralight Radios are...two Americans.  It  has been stuck like this since 
late November, because it takes great propagation  to make these kinds of 
contacts, and guys like Colin and Nick just haven't had  the propagation so far.
 
     When we get closer to spring,  however,  I think you can expect the west 
coast Canadians  to really start logging TP's and DU's, and if they can log 
Australia with a  pocket radio, they may well break the all-time Ultralight 
Radio distance  record.  We will, of course, be happy to try doing it before 
they
