Hi Nick,

The Sony SRF-T615 has very unusual sensitivity for an Ultralight radio,
but very usual images. I "receive" both KSUH-1450 on 540, and a weak image
of KZIZ-1560 on 650. The receiver also doesn't handle strong locals as well
as the SRF-59 (or its prisoner brother, the SRF-39FP), or even the digital
DT-200VX (or DT-210V). KSUH-1450 is heard quite far up the band, and mixes
with
other locals to produce spurs absent from the previously named units. (This
material was lifted from the 2008 Shootout article, hi).

However, the SRF-T615 more than earns its $89 pre-shipping fee because
of its astonishing sensitivity, making it THE one Ultralight I would choose
to take to Grayland... or any other ocean beach to chase TP's. When you get
away from the locals, this top-of-the-line, Made in Japan digital wonder can
log the weak DX like no other Ultralight, making you quickly forget any
urban-area limitations.

                    73, Gary
