For Nick and Others,

Sony's top of the line digital Ultralight model, the SRF-T615, does not
have a major urban RF problem. Quoting directly from the 2008 Shootout file,
the SRF-T615 has a moderate KSUH-1450 image on 550 (the only image), a
moderate KSUH-1450 spur on 1590, a moderate KZIZ-1560 spur on 1420, and a weak
Puyallup TIS-1580 spur on 1600. It does overload somewhat on KSUH-1450, with
weak slop down to 1430, and up to 1510. In this regard, its resistance to
urban RF issues is less than the SRF-59, SRF-39FP, DT-200VX and the DT-210V,
but
greater than the DT-180V, C.Crane SWP and SRF-M37V.

As mentioned before, these urban RF issues are more than outweighed by
the SRF-T615's unequaled (among Ultralight radios) sensitivity. Please
forgive any erroneous information posted late last night (obviously the result
of
over-optimistically trying to memorize the performance of 9 models).

                                                  73, Gary
