Better yet, use a "fan" termination, as we do at Long Beach Island.
This requires 3 or 4  15 to 20' long pieces of wire connected to the
end of the BOG and spread out like the blades of a fan. This provides
excellent directionality on out roughly 800' BOG's and should work on
shorter ones just as well.
