This afternoon, I added about a 100 feet to the BOG, It is about 330
feet and it is sure interesting. Instead of running it directly under
the beverage, I ran it out at an angle at about 100 degrees I would
guess. The Beverage runs closer to 75 degrees. On a lot of channels
there is a BIG difference between the beverage and the BOG. For one
thing, the BOG has a decent null on Portland. On the Beverage, I get
Portland on 1040. On the BOG, it is Vancouver BC with hardly a sign of
Portland. Another thing, I have a null on KAST-1370-Astoria, my closest
local at 5.9 miles. I am hearing Butte MT under them now in the
afternoon off the BOG.
I cannot leave it there permanantly, as someone could trip over it, but
I can try it tonight and if the weather is lousy, I can leave until it
improves, but it is very interesting to say the least!
