As revealed repeatedly by the service-manual alignment of 25 different
SRF-59's, the Chinese factory workers are not exactly as fanatical about
AM-DX performance as they could be. Out of 25 units I have aligned, 18 gained
a
major boost in sensitivity.
Would you like to make sure that YOUR SRF-59 is as sensitive as any on
the planet? Just send me an email off-list, check the current delay (none,
as of today), and send your SRF-59 to me at P.O. Box 1313, Puyallup, WA 98371.
Be sure to include $5 return postage for USPS Priority Mail shipping.
Note: This is not the procedure for Canadians. If you are a Canadian
DXer and wish to have your SRF-59 aligned, just send it to me, and I'll pay
the return postage myself.
