Pat Martin was responding to my message in which I noted that
KHHO-850's IBOC was off. Unfortunately, they only have it off for
exciter maintenance; it is due back on tonight or tomorrow. In the
meantime, I noted KKDZ-1250's IBOC back on this morning at 6:30am
PST. At 4:45pm PST, KKDZ's is still on and KHHO's is off. I also
think KIXI-880 has it on. Anyway if you are in the Puget Sound area,
I would work on 840 and 860 tonight.

When I am responding to someone's E-mail, I try to quote enough of it
so people get the gist of what I am responding too. It takes a little
more time on my part - but less on yours.

Because of the KIRO image on 830, it's a tough channel to work. A
sports format with a bunch of 800/888 phone-numbered ads did come up
last night between 8:45-9pm PST and I did hear a mention of
California, but besides KLAA, KNCO is on this channel. By 9, it
seemed like one of the carriers dropped off. The only ID I got at 9
was KIRO.
