ZLS has often been heard in western NY. Jim Renfrew ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karl J. Zuk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Mailing list for the International Radio Club of America" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 01, 2008 2:27 PM Subject: [IRCA] Beacon ZLS
I was listening to the Cuban on 530 during a recent visit to the Palm Beach, Florida area using a car radio in motion. I heard slow Morse behind it sending Z-L-S. It is a nice strong beacon from the nearby Bahamas. Fun to hear. Is it heard beyond the southeast? Also dominant was Radio Reloj on 570 and ZNS on 810. There is nothing like being near the ocean. I wish I was there during the evening to DX SSS. This was a quick day trip! The daytime DX was great fun. Is there anything else I should try to catch down there? Thanks, Karl N2KZ _________________________________________________________________ Need to know the score, the latest news, or you need your HotmailĀ®-get your "fix". http://www.msnmobilefix.com/Default.aspx _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected] -- No virus found in this incoming message.
