I am about 35 miles from them. When I stopped to listen to them, a female
anncr. was saying that they were running 25Kw. today and that the engineer was
tweaking some things today. She was asking for signal reports and giving out
their phone # as : 828-884-9427......They were noticably louder here in
northern S.C. Ground conductivity in this area is quite poor. Pisgah Forest is
about 25 miles SW of Asheville, N.C. 73, Chris Johnson......K2FO...The
original Ultra Light User......listening on a Sony SRF-M70.....Taylors, S.C.
