1280 is an ex-daytimer, and its night coverage is pretty minimal. It 
does better with 33 watts than most such stations, simply because 
Spokane is so darned far from most everything else on 1280, and the 
ground conductivity is pretty good. I'm pretty sure KIT in Yakima is the 
limiting factor keeping KPTQ from adding more significant night power 
(at least not without a pretty hefty directional array.)

The tower is located in the Moran Prairie tower farm, where nearly all 
of Spokane's AMs are or were located.
