Some of you on the various lists were kind enough to e-mail and check on me following the terrible tornadoes we had here in Tennessee and surrounding states last week. In my "day job" I am a civilian public affairs specialist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers here in Memphis. One of my duties is to produce our weekly online employee newsletter. Last week I published several photos taken of storm damage at Union University, about an hour's drive northwest of Memphis. This link will take you to one of these photos, plus clicking on the link at the bottom of the page will take you to several additional photos. I thought perhaps some on the lists would find these photos of interest ... especially folks who live where tornadoes are not a menace. Thankfully, no one died or was seriously injured at Union University.
Sorry to trouble anyone on the lists who may not be interested.
